Gratitude

Remember a few days ago when I was all melancholy about change, even though everything changes? Well, I’ve been spending some time participating in a gratitude training program recently and it’s opened my eyes (and life) up again.

The thing is, we humans have a tendency to spend a lot of time in “thinking” and we let things get in the way of our dreams and goals. And they’re really good things like: family, financial obligations, etc., too! And we forget the person we were when we dreamed. And then… regrets.

Well, guess what? I have no interest in looking back on my life and seeing regrets and unfulfilled dreams.

To that end, I’ve found that the way to get back to my path is to simply be grateful and move forward from there.

Somewhere along the line we forget ourselves, and that if we honored, cared for, and supported ourselves and our own dreams the way we do for others, life may actually be more fulfilling… and perhaps, easier!
